The Rebel Boom Band Writer’s Contest Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: May 1, 2025

This Terms and Conditions Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the participation in The Rebel Boom Band Writer’s Contest (“Contest”) hosted by JCLV Enterprises LLC dba Rebel Boom (“Rebel Boom”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By entering the Contest, you (“Entrant”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by all terms set forth herein. If you do not agree to these terms, do not enter or participate in the Contest.

1. Eligibility

The Contest is open to individuals worldwide who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older. Entrants under the age of 18 must have the written consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate. Employees, officers, and directors of Rebel Boom and its affiliated companies, as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to enter.

2. Contest Overview and Entry Guidelines

The Rebel Boom Band Writer’s Contest invites creators worldwide to submit an original literary or scripted work that tells the origin story of The Rebel Boom Band, a fictional superhero rock band comprised of the following Rebel Boom supplement characters:

• Angel
• Big Wolf
• Glamorous Green
• J.W. (Jokers Wild)
• Java Star
• Z (Rock the Zombie)
• Time Thriller
• The Volume Vampire trio

The story must include all eight characters and must demonstrate considerable character development, compelling story arcs, identifiable protagonists and antagonists, and a complete plot with a defined ending. Acceptable formats include but are not limited to: short stories, theatrical plays, television or film scripts, animations, or original formats not specified herein. Submissions must be in English or accompanied by an English translation.

The Contest will begin on May 1, 2025, and end on October 31, 2025, with a potential extension through April 30, 2026 at Rebel Boom’s sole discretion.

3. Submission Requirements

By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that:

• The material you submit is entirely original to you, or you have secured all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to submit the work to the Contest.
• You have full legal authority and rights to enter the submitted material into this Contest.
• The information provided in your submission and on the Contest sign-up page is complete and truthful.
• Your entry does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity or privacy.
• Your submission complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Entries that contain defamatory, offensive, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate content (as determined in Rebel Boom’s sole discretion) will be disqualified.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All submitted works remain the sole and exclusive intellectual property of the Entrant.

By entering the Contest, you grant Rebel Boom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, publish, promote, and reference your name, likeness, and submitted content (in whole or in part) for promotional purposes related to the Contest, Rebel Boom marketing, or publicity, in all media formats now known or later developed, without further compensation unless prohibited by law.

Rebel Boom does not claim ownership of any submitted material. Your submission remains your property, and your participation in the Contest does not transfer any ownership rights to Rebel Boom.

5. Prize and Recognition

The winner of the Contest will receive a $1,000 (one thousand) USD cash prize and may be eligible to have their winning work presented to legitimate, elite Hollywood agents for potential industry exposure. Rebel Boom makes no guarantee that any submitted or winning work will be optioned, produced, published, or otherwise commercially exploited.

Additional non-cash recognition (such as features on Rebel Boom platforms, press releases, or marketing materials) may also be awarded at Rebel Boom’s discretion.

All prizes are non-transferable and may be subject to taxation under applicable laws. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to report and pay any applicable taxes.

6. Selection Process

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by Rebel Boom. The judging panel will evaluate submissions based on originality, narrative strength, character development, emotional impact, and entertainment value. Decisions made by the judging panel are final and binding in all respects.

7. Disqualification

Rebel Boom reserves the right to disqualify any entry that, in its sole discretion, violates these Terms and Conditions, is inappropriate, contains false information, or interferes with the Contest's integrity

8. Limitation of Liability

By entering the Contest, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless JCLV Enterprises LLC dba Rebel Boom, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from your participation in the Contest or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Rebel Boom is not responsible for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to lost or delayed entries, network outages, server errors, or unauthorized access to Contest entries.

9. Privacy and Data Usage

By entering the Contest, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest and promoting Rebel Boom. Rebel Boom will never sell or distribute your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or necessary to administer the Contest.

10. Modification and Termination

Rebel Boom reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to force majeure, fraud, or technical issues beyond its contro

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to the Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

12. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and Rebel Boom with respect to the Contest and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral or written. Rebel Boom’s failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision or any other provision.

By submitting an entry to The Rebel Boom Band Writer’s Contest, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
